Nottinghamshire Deaf Society (NDS) provides services and a community space for the deaf people of Nottinghamshire. We have a long history of being involved with and supporting that community.

We deliver quality training through our excellent tutoring team 

Our qualified and experienced tutors are deaf and use BSL as their first language. Each of them has a deep understanding of the language and culture, and teaches with a great deal of skill, knowledge and humour.

All our Deaf Awareness and BSL Taster courses are bespoke

They can be tailored to meet the specific needs of organisations and businesses. Whether you’re a private company, public service, or charity, our training will help you to develop a deeper understanding of deaf culture, communication barriers, and how to improve accessibility for deaf and hard-of-hearing people.
