Company Members

Company Members are an important part of the governance of Nottinghamshire Deaf Society. The members form the charitable company (a little like shareholders) but they do not own the company or the charity. We encourage everyone  to become company members so that they can support and get involved with the charity. Company members are responsible for the formation of the charity and so it is important that they are involved in discussing how it is run.

This page includes a video which explains the purpose of company members and how to become one in BSL. There is more information about the roles and responsibilities of members plus how to become a member. There is no cost and all we ask is that you support the charity and help us to achieve our vision and mission.
