Nottinghamshire Deaf Society – Response to COVID-19

Along with many organisations and businesses we are having to make changes because of the impact of the COVID-19 and the new requirements for us to run our charity safely.

Please see information below for service updates and information. For more information in BSL about Coronavirus and COVID-19 we recommend looking at the SignHealth Webpage which also has information from the NHS and Public Health England.

Please support us by sharing information with others who may not always receive it.

We hope that you and your family and friends will be safe during this time.

We encourage the Deaf Community to support each other at this time. We are working with Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council to help ensure all our most vulnerable service users have the support they need. If you are able to volunteer, please contact Nottingham City Council or Nottinghamshire County Council to register. If you use British Sign Language (BSL) or have some BSL skills, you can include this in your application.
