Interpreter Duty Time Service

Are you Deaf and need help with telephone calls, letters or want to book an interpreter?

Then come and see Catherine or Jo during our interpreter duty-time sessions. All sessions are split into 15 minute slots and people are seen on first come first served basis.

What we do:

• Book an interpreter for you
• Make a telephone call for you (where you cannot use Type Talk)
• Help you understand letters
• Help you with English to write letters

What we don't do:

• Fill in benefits forms (this can be done through the Welfare Rights Service)
• Telephone interviews for jobs
• Make personal phone calls to friends/relatives
