Nottinghamshire Deaf Society is a Voluntary Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee which provides positive and empowering services and opportunities responding to the needs of the local Deaf Community.

NDS is based in a Community Centre and our facilities are used by Deaf people of all ages.

We also campaign for equal access, opportunities and information for Deaf people who use British Sign Language as their preferred language.

	Deaf Awareness / Communication Tactics / BSL Want to know about Communicating with Deaf people.
	Information Technology (IT) Access to IT Equipment to memebers of the Daef Community via our  Drop in session subject to room availability
	Health Project Learn about our involvement with local PCT's to improve  Deaf People's access to Health Services.
