Nottinghamshire Deaf Society Information, Communication Technology (ICT) Project.
Please notethat there is no more computer training until possibly September, but Drop in is still available on a Wednesday afternoon from 2pm till 4pm until the end of july when a decision will be made.
The ICT Project was set up in 2001 to provide Computer training for Deaf people in Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas.
Our ICT Resource Centre is furnished with:
10 state of art computers
6 laptops
Flatbed Scanner
2 Digital Still Cameras
Digital Video Camera
Interactive Smart Board
Our Aims
To enable Deaf people to improve their ICT Skills
To enable Deaf people to have access to the latest Technology
Provide accessible ICT Training
Enable Deaf people to improve their career prospects in ICT
Enable Deaf people to improve their life skills through gaining confidence in using ICT.

We also offer Drop in on Wednesday afternoons from 2pm till 4pm, for one to one tuition and to enable students to catch up if needed.
